Keith Green, who grew up in Belleville, Michigan, has been second horn with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since 1994, and second horn with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra since 1991.
Keith graduated from Western Michigan University in 1982, where he studied horn with Neill Sanders. After an inspiring master class by Dave Krehbiel, then-principal horn of the San Francisco Symphony, Keith decided to move to San Francisco to study with him. He received his master's degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1984.
Keith lives in Oakland with his wife Katy Juneau, a professional violist. He finds time for golf now and then, brews and bakes, and hopes never to let a summer go by without family camping in the Sierras or beyond.
